2 BR Beachfront Home + Large Deck [Harbor Hideout]

We highly enjoyed our stay! It was a cozy spot to hang out after a long day of exploring. The views were stunning of the coastline/beach. Only suggestion is to update the king bed mattress. Definitely has defined dips on each side. Overall great experience and we’d definitely recommend to others and visit again!

We really enjoyed staying at this cozy cottage. It certainly had it's own charm. The ocean view was so lovely with the beach a short walk away. Accommodations were comfortable--bed was great! Close to town of SW Harbor, great hiking trails and good restaurants. It was nice to be on the quiet side of Acadia and not near "cruise ship tee-shirt shop" craziness of Bar Harbor.

Quaint. But a great location for a quiet place to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay. I was curious about the size of the place since I knew it was on the smaller ("tiny") size. But honestly, it was fine! Three adults and a dog managed perfectly. We liked being on the quiet side of the island. We spent our days in downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. So it was nice to leave the crowds behind. The location definitely adds to your overall driving (if you're there to do Bar Harbor/Acadia). BUT...the setting was SOOOO worth the extra driving. My goodness...the view, the quiet, just the whole setting was worth every penny I paid. And there's an awesome deck to sit out on. It was hard to leave the property because of that!! And it's just a really short walk to the water's edge and they have Adirondack chairs set up which was really nice. There are other units pretty close and there were people in them while we were there but it didn't impact the peacefulness of the spot for us. We would absolutely return!

Nice home and very responsive owners. The view and property are incredible.
